Our client was injured when his vehicle while making a left turn was t-boned by a speeding driver. The other driver denied fault and sued our client. We showed the other drivers speed and reckless driving caused the collision. After a four-day trial, the jury found the plaintiff at fault and awarded our client $589,025.29. In addition to special damages, the Jury awarded $150,000 for pain and suffering, $150,000 for loss of quality of life, $180,000 for loss of consortium to the man’s wife and $50,000 in punitive damages due to the reckless driving of the plaintiff.
